Welcome to Black Swan Brewing Company, where passion for brewing meets a tradition of excellence. Founded in 2014 by two educators turned brewers, Bruce Pepper and Ryan Stokes, our journey began with a shared love for crafting exceptional beers.

The Brewing Tradition: Bruce and Ryan, both teachers with a longstanding tradition of home brewing, decided to turn their passion into a community endeavor. Black Swan Brewing Company emerged as a testament to their dedication to the art and science of brewing.

Continuing To Grow: In 2017, Bruce decided to return to his passion in teaching. In 2018, with a new brewer onboard it was time for an expansion. With more tank capacity and Phil's creativity the Playground Series was born. 

Heart of Stratford, Ontario: Nestled in the iconic Stratford, Ontario, our craft brewery stands as a proud member of this vibrant community. Our doors opened with a vision to not only serve outstanding craft beers but to create a space where friends, new and old, can gather to share in the joy of exceptional brews.

Crafting Flavor, Pushing Boundaries: Our commitment to quality is reflected in every pint we pour. With staple styles such as English Pale Ale, Porter, & India Pale Ale, we offer a diverse range that caters to the seasoned beer enthusiast and the curious newcomer alike.
